PRIDE @ NU meets monthly via Zoom, meaning that students from any campus can take part! Email us to be added to our National University Blackboard page, where you can access minutes of past meetings and subscribe to announcements. We also sponsor events throughout the year around community service, intercultural appreciation, and LGBTQ networking and career development. FEBRUARY 2021 SAFEZONES ALLY TRAINING 

Monday, February 22, 2021 OR Tuesday, February 23, 2021 

Shannon Dalton (Co-President) & Sammi Gallardo (Vice President) will be offering two 1-hour Synchronous SafeZones Ally Trainings via Zoom. This event is open to ALL NU students!

 

Before coming to the training, please complete the ASYNCHRONOUS portion of the training HERE by watching the two 30 minute videos and utilizing the SafeZones participant packet. Please come with questions, insights, and an open mind that is ready to learn! After completing the asynchronous portion of the training, please register for one of the two synchronous sessions:

PAST EVENT: SAFEZONES ALLY TRAINING

January 5, 2019

Start off the new year with a fantastic SafeZones Ally training! 

​

This 2-hour SafeZones Ally Training (offered both in person at Spectrum Campus or via Zoom) will give attendees an opportunity to both experience SafeZones training as a participant and to offer it as a training. Completion of this training will result in SafeZones Ally Trainer Certification, and a handsome signed certificate to show off to your friends!

PAST EVENT: SAFEZONES ALLY TRAINING FOR NU NURSING FACULTY

February 28, 2019

Pam Schreurs (Club President and NU Scholar) offered a 2-hour SafeZones Ally Training at Rancho Bernardo Campus (16875 W Bernardo Dr #150, San Diego, CA 92127) for NU Nursing Faculty. This training was tailored to the needs of nurses and other healthcare professionals.

Please join us for National University's first ever At-Risk Counseling
Series. The objective of this series is to introduce mental health
practitioners to different at-risk or underrepresented populations. The
series will be presented by different community organizations, offering
their services to improve student development and raise community
awareness.
